The Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG) respects the privacy of the users of our Web site.
The following Privacy Policy applies to sacregioncommuterclub.org and www.mayisbikemonth.com.
We do not collect personal information about you when you visit our Web sites, unless you voluntarily provide us with the information. We also may track the keywords that are entered into our search engine service to measure interest in specific topics, but we do not track which terms a particular user enters.
Personal Information
Personal information will remain confidential. This personal information may include your name, e-mail address, phone number, street address, etc. Home addresses are strictly confidential.
Certain address information is required for Commuter Club. A contact phone number for public release is required if you choose to post a vanpool listing so participants without an e-mail can contact you, but you choose whether it is your work or home phone number. When your name appears on a matchlist, all we display is your name, city, zip code, e-mail address, and any additional information you have chosen to provide. Home addresses are strictly confidential. We do not give, share, sell, or transfer any personal information to a third party, unless we are legally required to do so.
Submitting questions or comments
If you send us an email with a question or comment, we will use your email only to respond to your request. Your email may be forwarded to another staff member who is better qualified to answer your question.
